I often describe myself as a wife and a mother.

That is who I am, and those roles are important. But I am so much more than just a wife, or just a mother.

I’m a daughter, sister, friend, cousin, niece, confidante, Sunday school teacher, church secretary, aspiring writer, and coffee fanatic.

I’m a veteran blogger and Dakotapam.com just celebrated five years online! What once started as an online journal has become so much more! A popular feature is my series on mothering twins. I also love to share the products that I find helpful, and I love helping other moms; whether that means advice on getting your son to sleep through the night, or how to set up your brand new blog!

I’ve been married for 17 years to my college sweetheart, Dakotapastor. Dakotapastor is the pastor of a Confessional Lutheran Mission Congregation in Bismarck, North Dakota. I began blogging at about the same time Dakotapastor accepted the Call to start this congregation. I’ve chronicled many of the ups and downs of Holy Cross Lutheran Church here.

I’m also a busy mom to 6 kids, that include two teens, two tweens and a set of preschool twin girls! Some people think I have my hands full, but I just think I’m living life with both hands full! I wouldn’t have it any other way!
