Andrea Bocelli, “My Christmas”: Review
Every year we try to add a new Christmas CD to our collection. Through the years we have added artists who fit events or memories for the year. This year I was at a loss for what to add, so I simply looked at my iTunes library and looked for a genre that was lacking. We have instrumental, children’s, Gospel, Church Choir, Ancient, Gregorian Chant and even humorous Christmas music. What our library did not have was Andrea Bocelli.
After an especially long day as a mom,My Christmas arrived in the mail. And not a moment too soon! I popped it into my kitchen CD player and instantly relaxed while making dinner. All of the songs are accompanied by and arranged by David Foster. Andrea’s rich Tenor voice is soothing and strong. The balance of secular and sacred music was perfect. And in one short hour I heard carols sung in Italian, Latin, German, French, Spanish and English. The Muppets popped in to help sing “Jingle Bells” and Natalie Cole croons along with “The Christmas Song”, made famous by her father. Other guest artists include Mary J. Blige, Reba McIntire, and Katherine Jenkins.
My Christmas is a true Christmas treat!

Mostly because I love belting it out!I still can’t believe a blind man can sing so beautiful. Thanks a lot for sharing this..
My favorite has always been Mary Did You Know because it’s just such a sweet song.
I love his voice!!
My favorite Christmas song is “Away in a Manger” because I remember performing in a play as a child and singing it!
My one of the favorite songs is Christmas Times by Celine Dion. Love melodic music, it’s just flowing!
