Back to Blogdom
I took a few days off from Dakotapam.com to spend some much needed quality time with the Rev.’s parents. They always visit us on their way back to Florida for the winter and we just pray that it does not snow on them while they visit. (We lucked out! The weather was gorgeous most days). We enjoyed some time sitting out on the porch watching the babies play, Papa got to go along with the Rev. for “Donut’s with Dad” at the little boys new school, and they even got to watch Owen’s fall musical. Add in a trip to the pumpkin patch and a quick pheasant hunting session with the Rev., Papa and Dakotatween and we can reflect on a really nice visit.
It is hard living so far from grandparents, but I think we cherish time together even more.
And so, I took some time off from you, my readers. And I have a lot of reading to do on all of your blogs too!
Did you know that I always visit my readers blogs? Well I do. That is, if you leave a comment. I don’t know that you have a blog if you don’t let me know that you even read here! I’ve been using the CommentLuv plugin for quite a while and just upgraded to premium CommentLuv because I love some of the features. It keeps spammer and bots off of my sites and helps readers who are interested in what I have to say stick around.
Long story short: if you have a blog, and you want me to read there, and comment, and enter your contests, and maybe guest post, or just look at your cute pictures. . .you need to comment on my posts. Then, a link to your blog (you even get to CHOOSE what post you want your link to post to) appears under your comment and I always go visit! Now, sometimes I fall behind, because my lovely mother in law is here visiting and we are chatting over coffee, or I’m chasing my kids or sometimes even cleaning my house. . .but eventually I get to your blog!
In other news: this week I’m giving away a few things, a combination smoke/carbon dioxide detector from First Alert, and educational kids app for your iPad, and I’m going to share some more free and super cute projects from HP! So stick around, there is a lot to see!
