Clearasil PerfectaWash Review
I’m at an interesting stage in life. At the same time that my teens are experiencing some hormonal acne, so am I.
I know the common sense wisdom of not picking and not touching my face, but old habits die hard!
I was interested to try the new Clearasil PerfectaWash automatic dispenser and Clearasil Rapid Action Face Wash. I wanted something that would be easy to use and mess free for the teens. It is a simple way to add a medicated face wash to their routines.
One of the things I enjoy about the face wash is that id does not smell like face medicine. It is formulated with 2% Salicylic Acid, which is a maximum acne fighting dose. The wash also cleans deep and removes make-up, which simplifies my routine as well. After I use the wash my face feels smooth, not oily and also not overly dried out.
There are two formulations that can be used in the dispenser: Super Fruit Splash and Soothing Plant Extract (my favorite!).
The recommended dosage is to use twice daily, simply place your hand under the pump, wait for the cleanser to be delivered, lather, massage into face and rinse thoroughly.
This product promises visibly clearer skin in as little as twelve hours! I can’t be sure of that claim only because I’m between break outs right now, but I do know that my T-zone is much less oily.
I like the battery operated hands free dispenser, but I’m afraid of the younger kids using it as a hand wash, or a toy, so I do turn it off between uses. If we had a dedicated master bathroom or teen bathroom, we could always leave it powered on. It is easy to use and the perfect dose dispensing insures that none goes to waste. I am also assuming that every last drop will be used, due to the design of the container.
Now, you all know how much I enjoy saving money! Check out the PerfectaWash Facebook page for a valuable buy one get one coupon!
Clearasil PerfectaWash is available at major retailers and at Amazon.com for the retail price of $19.99 . Additional refills sell for $8.99 each.
I really, really like this system. It looks nice, smells great, and most of all, it works!
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Clearasil. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.

I’ve been breaking out like crazy lately too. I bought some acne cleanser, but I hate how it stings and burns after I apply it. Do you find that happens with this cleanser? I may just have to try some NEXT WEEK WHEN WE’RE TOGETHER. (SQUEEEEEEE!)

No stinging that I have noticed! But, I’m not very sensitive!
