After a somewhat alarmed text on Sunday from my semi-luddite friend, Karrie, I was reminded that in my business, I have let the blog flounder! Sorry!
So much has gone on these past few weeks. My mom was due to fly in a few Wednesday’s ago, but since she was flying stand-by, she arrived on Friday evening, just as we were having our big church cook out to celebrate the dedication of our new building. So, my house was clean on Wednesday, and Thursday, and Friday. . .a week ago.
The church dedication went well. It was a busy weekend. We spent a lot of our time at the church, and at least one of my kids may have had homework issues because of it. This mom of the year forgot to send a “heads up” email to the elementary teachers.
Because my mom arrived two days late, she stayed an additional two days. I enjoyed her company, as did the girls. . .though they were not crazy about me leaving them with “Nama” without me being there.
As you know, I also work with NaturallyBorn.net as their blog editor. We’ve had big things going on there, we are on the verge of a site redesign, and our community is growing by leaps and bounds (we just hit 14,000 fans on our very busy Facebook Page today!) and we just launched a new division, NaturallyBornKids last night!
So, I’ve been busy. Not a real excuse to ignore this space, but, there it is. I’m kind of a solitary blogger.Put another adult in my house, and my mojo is gone. Sad, really. but true!
Now, I’m back! And I have tons to share with you this week!
