Game Day and Progresso Recipe Starters (+ Giveaway!)
I’m not much of a football person. I like to joke with my football obsessed friend, Essie, that I don’t care how many home-runs her team gets. That makes her shake her head at me every time.
Now, I do love the Superbowl! Not for the football (though I am mildly excited for the 49ers). No, I watch the Superbowl for the ads, and I really love Superbowl food!
I’m a huge fan of dips, finger foods and appetizers, and what better excuse to serve them as a meal than a huge football game enjoyed by the entire country!
I recently received a Game Day Recipe Starter Kit from MyBlogSpark and Progresso. I had seen the Progresso Recipe Starter soups in the stores, but I had not yet been inspired to try them.
Let me tell you, these are not your Grandma’s cream soups! With ingredients like chicken stock, real cream and roasted garlic, these soups add a depth of flavor to recipes, and still allow for quick easy prep. Sure, I love to cook from scratch, but sometimes life gets in the way!
I know that on Game Day I’m planning on making these delicious Bacon-Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms.
We all know that bacon makes everything taste better, but cheese and a Portabello Mushroom soup add even more!
I have a few goodies for you! First, I have a coupon for $.65 off of any one can of Progresso Recipe Starters.
Second, I have a fun giveaway! One of my lucky readers will receive a Game Day Recipe Starter kit! The kit includes a very nice bamboo 10 piece cheese and appetizer set and a can of Garlic Progresso Recipe Starters! Simply enter using the easy Rafflecopter form below.
