Seven Quick Takes Friday {4/15/11}
It has been yet another crazy busy week here in the land of Dakotapam.
I’ve had a number of sick boys, and I am once again thankful for an accommodating and kind family doctor and staff who fit us in for a same day appointment when we could have probably braved the walk in clinic. But, truth be told, when you have a sick child, you prefer to see someone who knows you!
So, since I’ve spent more time at home this week than usual, I was able to catch up on a lot of blog reading, which was super fun! Here are some of my favorites for the week!
- Yesterday was my dear friend Esther’s birthday. I had fun looking at all of her photographs from birthdays past! I’d have you sing to her, but she would cry!
- Are you a sucker for newborn pictures? How about cute, squishy newborn twin boys? You’ll have to check out this post by my friend Krystle. Her sweet babies are absolutely smoochable!
- Do you have a picky eater? Have you considered the power of peer pressure to turn things around?
- I love when companies think beyond their profits and see their product or service as really helping people. I use diapers from Cotton Babies on the twins, and was pleased to see that they are in the early stages of starting a program to get cloth diapers into the hands of moms who cannot afford them! Cloth diapers have saved our family a lot of money over the years. Not only that, but we have reduced the amount of garbage that our family produces and we have reduced the amounts of chemicals that our children have been exposed to.
- Have you ever had one of those weeks when everyone seems to tick you off? Well, Multiplemama has. And she just may be justified in some of her annoyance, hormones or no.
- I don’t bake, but Beth’s Little Tea Cookies make me want to maybe heat up that oven just a wee bit!
- Do you like free stuff? I know I do! Well, I have a great, easy to enter giveaway right here, for a really awesome baby book! Check it out!
