Snow. Again. Still. {Holy Cross Updates with Gratuitious Twin Photos}
I’m trying not to whine.
I’m trying to remember that I love the state that I live in. I love my community. I love four seasons. I love that our kids can play outside, safely, in clean air.
However, it has been snowing for six months. Edited to add that I was informed by a friend that it snowed they day after her daughter was born, and Joy is seven months old today. So it has been snowing for SEVEN months.
That, my dear friends, is half of the year. Which means that at least one of our four seasons is getting shortened.
This year Easter falls on the latest date possible. Certainly we could count on switching out the heavy tights for some cute lacy ankle socks for the babies, right? Probably not.

Elizabeth has a little admirer at church
I’m a rebel though. Even though it still looks like winter, I am switching over the family wardrobes. A friend brought me a bunch of spring and summer hand me downs for the girls, and I decided it was time to go through the dressers and closets so that I could spread the love! The girls have outgrown a lot of clothes! I have lots of matchy twin things, and the girls that we handed down the smaller sized things to have outgrown those as well, so if you are a mom of twin baby girls in the Bismarck area, you may want to click on the contact me tab up there. . .I may have some love to share!

Elizabeth and Emily are OBSESSED with Mandy's guitar case!
Today the loan officially closed on the new Holy Cross Lutheran Church building. We have a lot of remodeling to do now! We are trying to raise funds for the remodeling, there is a paypal button on the church website if you are so inclined, and if you are a Thrivent member, you have the option of directing some of your Thrivent Choice money our way. We are very excited and comforted by all that God has done for us thus far. What is really amazing is that friends and family from near and far have been a part of the miracle that is Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

A little Palm Sunday game of Peek-a-Boo with ethan and Elizabeth.

It is all rain rain rain here in Ohio. The forecast is calling for one day this week when it might not rain, lol! I think even for your part of the world you’ve had enough already, right? Happy Easter! We’ll most likely be visiting our old church for Easter this year, though with my house turned upside down I’ve not given a single thought to what the boys will wear. If I am lucky, we’ll be able to scrounge up two pairs of khakis without holes in the knees, ha ha!

My plans are I will NOT be at my own church on Easter!
But the good news is (well, besides the Good News!), my little grandson Henry, age 6 mos., will be baptized on that day, at the Methodist church where my son and family live, in a town about 35 miles away. I’ve very excited about that. We’ve had a couple of sunny days, the cherry blossoms have bloomed are are done, but I think we’re going back to rain again.
