The temperature hit 62 balmy degrees yesterday, which brought the promise of eventually packing my black cardigans away until fall.
When I was a stay at home mom, my wardrobe varied little from season to season. It had little variety, but it was very affordable.
Going back to work forced me to re-evaluate my wardrobe. Yoga pants were not going to cut it in my job. And while I adore my t-shirt depicting the chemical formula for caffeine, I don’t think it is the most business casual-friendly shirt that I own.
While I would have loved to whip out the credit card and go on a wild work-clothes shopping spree, the practical side of me knew that was unwise.
So I bought a few practical pieces that would work throughout the spring and summer seasons.
There are some personal shopping services that will do some of the leg-work for working moms, however, I fall outside of their size parameters. Let’s face it, it is not as fun to dress up bigger girls. While I am working on shedding some of my excess, I know that this will be a long process.
So, here is my spring wardrobe advice for my friends with a bit more jiggle than the average lady 🙂
