Twins: Two for the Price of One?

Twins: Two for the Price of One? 1

There is nothing two for the price of one about twins! Our labor and delivery and hospital stays were way more expensive than even our uninsured hospital singleton birth. We have to pay two co-pays at the doctor’s office and we need twice as many clothes (and especially shoes!) Even a BOGO shoe sale only gives 50% off the second pair of shoes.

However, even though twins are more expensive, and take up more of my time and energy, They are a special, unique blessing!

I feel very blessed to have these two little girls calling me “Mom” and I enjoy all the adventures that twindom takes me on!

Chime in! What is your favorite thing about your children?

I'm a Lutheran pastor's wife and mom to six kids, including young adult sons down to 8-year old twin daughters. My life is sometimes normal, and sometimes crazy; but through it all, I know that I am blessed! Some people say that I have my hands full, I prefer to call it living life with both hands full, and I love it!
