Instant Pot Split Pea Soup

  • 40 oz water
  • 2 T Chicken Flavored Better Than Boullion
  • 2 C Dried Split Peas
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks Celery, chopped
  • 2 large carrots, sliced
  • 2 T olive oil
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • 1 cup diced ham


  • Turn your pot on sauté, and add the olive oil. Let it heat up for a bit.
  • Add the onion
  • and the ham
  • Saute for a few minutes until the onions become translucent and the ham begins to release juices.
  • Add the remaining ingredients, close and seal lid and set the valve to seal. Cook on high pressure for 17 minutes.
  • When the time is done, you can do a QR (quick release) and stir before serving.
